Collection: Risograph Prints

The risograph print process is a unique, eco-friendly method combining aspects of screen printing and digital duplicating. I make the artwork physically by drawing or sculpting with clay, then each artwork is then separated into layers. These layers are transferred onto master sheets, which are wrapped around drums inside the machine. As the drums rotate, soy-based ink is pushed through the perforations of the master sheets, transferring the design onto paper. Each colour requires a separate pass, layering the colours to create the final print. I really like making risograph prints due to their vibrant colours and distinctive tactile textures. Despite some limitations in colour pallet and registration, risograph printing is my favourite method for printing as it’s a process I can do myself and the print runs have a tactile and bright outcome.
