Blob Person III Risograph Print

'Blob Person III' is a two colour risograph print, 210 × 297 mm, edition of 50.

This print is made as part of a series following on from a project titled 'Taking the hand for a walk'. These risograph prints are made using scanned plasticine shapes, then printed using a risograph duplicator. Risograph printing brings these plasticine figures to life with distinct texture that capture the texture of the clay and bright inks that make the print pop. These risograph prints featuring flowers, are a blend of vibrant colours and tactile texture that capture the energy of the original objects. The risograph process uses soy-based inks, making it an environmentally friendly choice for producing prints. I find this process Ideal for conveying the texture of the drawing and the clay textures.
