'Butterflies' is a three colour risograph print, 210×297mm (A4), edition of 100.
These risograph prints are made using scanned rocks, found on Brighton beach. I then printed these using a risograph duplicator. Risograph printing brings these rocky figures to life with distinct texture that capture the texture of the clay and bright inks that make the print pop. These risograph prints are a blend of vibrant colours and tactile texture that capture the energy of the original objects. The risograph process uses soy-based inks, making it an environmentally friendly choice for producing prints. I find this process Ideal for conveying the texture of the drawing and the clay textures.
